The Challenge

The clients, Mr & Mrs Davis, were unhappy with the appearance and performance of their driveway, which was a mix of tarmac and concrete.

Solution:
In April 2010, the Gridforce team set to work on breaking up and removing the existing drive surface and base. A sub base comprising 200mm of Type 3 free draining stone was installed and overlaid with 20mm of sharp sand. 250m2 of Gridforce GF40 pavers were laid and filled with 14mm green gravel aggregate to provide a decorative finish and the entire area was edged with attractive granite setts. Mr & Mrs Davis commented on "a brilliant job. We are delighted with the driveway and would be happy to recommend you to prospective buyers".
